La publicista de Madonna ha negado los rumores de un romance entre Madonna y Sean Penn. Liz Rosenberg se ha pronunciado en People.com ante los rumores que aparecieron la semana pasada sobre un posible encuentro romántico de la pareja en Nueva York el pasado jueves durante una cena, los cuales aseguraban que habían vuelto juntos. Rosenberg dijo sobre el encuentro entre Madonna y Penn en el restaurante Adour del hotel St. Regis: "Madonna se encontraba en el restaurante cenando con varios amoigos. Sean estaba allí y se paró en la mesa de Madonna para saludarla. Se sentó con ella durante 10 minutos. Después Madonna continuó con su cena. Eso es todo lo que ocurrió".

A publicist for Madonna says the U.S. pop star is not rekindling her romance with her former husband, actor Sean Penn, despite rumors to the contrary. Publicist Liz Rosenberg said while rumors of a possible romantic reunion were fueled by Madonna and Penn meeting at a New York eatery Thursday, they are not getting back together, People.com reported Friday. "Madonna was at the St. Regis having dinner with friends," Rosenberg said of the former couple's meeting at the Adour at the St. Regis Hotel. "Sean stopped by the table to say hello. He sat for 10 minutes and then left. Madonna continued with her dinner. That's all it was."

Madonna, 51, divorced director Guy Ritchie in 2008, while Penn's wife, actress Robin Wright Penn, filed for divorce from the "Milk" actor last August. Madonna and Penn, 49, were married for four years before divorcing in 1989.

El DJ y productor atribuye el rumor a una broma de su amigo DJ Mehdi. A pesar de lo que se había dicho esta misma semana, el DJ, productor y colaborador de Kanye West, A-Trak, no está trabajando en el próximo álbum de Madonna. Las especulaciones empezaron cuando un amigo de A-Trak, DJ Mehdi, lanzó el rumor durante una entrevista. Pero, ahora, A-Trak ha emitido un comunicado desmintiéndolo y atribuye todo el lío a una broma de Mehdi.

Lo que sí es seguro es que Madonna ya está preparando su próximo trabajo discográfico, que será el primero de su nuevo contrato con Live Nation y que podría publicarse este mismo año. Si no hay otro desmentido, en este disco intervendrán los productores Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Rage Against the Machine, Stone Temple Pilots, AC/DC, Aerosmith) y David Guetta.

Reports have been circulating that DJ, producer, and onetime Kanye West sideman A-Trak would contribute production to the next Madonna album. Speculation started when A-Trak's buddy DJ Mehdi dropped the bomb in an interview with Dummy, and it's since spread. But in a new statement, A-Trak debunks the rumor, explaining that Mehdi was just kidding the whole time. A-Trak says, "Those Madonna rumors started from a joke my boy DJ Mehdi made in an interview. Then it spread to Madonna fan-sites. Then the Daily Star fabricated a quote from me. Next thing you know it was on NME and MTV. I'm not opposed to the idea, but it's all fiction for now".
